A Severed Head is a work by French artist Odilon Redon (1840 - 1916). It's one sketch and study charcoal, stumping, traces of erasing and scratching on laid paper drawing created in 1878-1879. The painting is owned by the museum of Musée d'Orsay, one of the museums with the most Odilon Redon works, and is accessible to the general public. Odilon Redon was influenced by Symbolism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and still life.
For faithful reproductions, our artists will study the oeuvre and techniques of Odilon Redon. The original painting of A Severed Head is about 15" wide and 16" high. You may customize the painting's size and frame, for décor or gifting, from 13" by 14" to size as huge as a wall. Our artists use oil on canvas by default. You may also request non-oil media, such as the original media. Covet a museum's antique frame?
