Totem and Forest

Totem and Forest is a work by Canadian artist Emily Carr (1871 - 1945). It's one architecture oil on canvas painting created in 1931. The painting is owned by the museum of Vancouver Art Gallery, one of the museums with the most Emily Carr works, and is accessible to the general public. Emily Carris a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Emily Carr was influenced by Modernism and Post-Impressionism, and made most paintings about landscape and figure and tableau.
