A Place in the Shade, also The Shaded Beach, is a work by French artist Henri-Edmond Cross (1856 - 1910). It's one nude oil on canvas painting created in 1902. The painting is privately owned and may not be always open to the public. Henri-Edmond Cross was influenced by Neo-Impressionism, and made most paintings about landscape and seascape.
