A Spray of Flowers

A Spray of Flowers is a work by Dutch artist Rachel Ruysch (1664 - 1750). It's one still life oil on canvas painting created in 1690-1699. The painting is owned by Fitzwilliam Museum - University of Cambridge, one of the museums with the most Rachel Ruysch works, and is accessible to the general public. Rachel Ruyschis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Rachel Ruysch was influenced by Baroque and Dutch Golden Age, and made most paintings about still life and flower and tree.
