Afternoon Tea Party

Afternoon Tea Party is a work by world-famous American artist Mary Cassatt (1844 - 1926). It's one sketch and study etching, drypoint and aquatint in color on wove paper created in 1891. The painting is owned by Brooklyn Museum, and is accessible to the general public. Mary Cassattis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Mary Cassatt was influenced by Impressionism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and portrait.
