An Old Scholar is a work by Dutch artist Salomon Koninck (1609 - 1656). It's one portrait oil on canvas painting. The painting is owned by The State Hermitage Museum - St Petersburg, one of the museums with the most Salomon Koninck works, and is accessible to the general public. Salomon Koninck was influenced by Dutch Golden Age and Baroque, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and portrait.
