Danaë is a work by world-famous Italian artist Tintoretto (1518 - 1594). It's one nude oil on canvas painting created in 1570-1580. The painting is owned by the museum of Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, and is accessible to the general public. Tintoretto was influenced by Mannerism (Late Renaissance), and made most paintings about figure and tableau and portrait.
