Death of the Virgin is a work by Dutch artist Hugo van der Goes (ca. 1440 - 1482). It's one figure and tableau oil on panel painting created in 1480. The painting is owned by Groeninge Museum - Brugge, and is accessible to the general public. Hugo van der Goes was influenced by Northern Renaissance, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and portrait.
