Evening

Evening, also Lost Illusions, is a work by Swiss artist Charles Gleyre (1806 - 1874). It's one figure and tableau oil on canvas painting created in 1843. The painting is owned by the museum of Musée du Louvre, and is accessible to the general public. Charles Gleyre was influenced by Academic Art and Romanticism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and nude.
