Gondola Prows

Gondola Prows, also La Rive degli Schiavoni, Venice, is a work by American artist John Singer Sargent (1856 - 1925). It's one cityscape oil on panel and body color over pencil on paper painting created in 1903-1904. The painting is owned by the museum of Tate Britain - London, and is accessible to the general public. John Singer Sargent was influenced by Realism and Impressionism, and made most paintings about portrait and figure and tableau.
