Grand Canal, Venice is a work by Canadian artist Maurice Prendergast (1858 - 1924). It's one cityscape watercolor and pencil on paper painting created in 1898-1899. The painting is owned by Williams College Museum of Art, one of the museums with the most Maurice Prendergast works, and is accessible to the general public. Maurice Prendergast was influenced by Post-Impressionism, Ashcan School, and American Modernism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and seascape.
