Mount Lebanon

Mount Lebanon is a work by world-famous American artist Frederic Edwin Church (1826 - 1900). It's one landscape oil on paperboard painting created in 1868. The painting is owned by Cooper Hewitt, National Design Museum, one of the museums with the most Frederic Edwin Church works, and is accessible to the general public. Frederic Edwin Church was influenced by Hudson River School, Romanticism, and American Landscape, and made most paintings about landscape and seascape.
