Pietà

Pietà is a work by French artist Hippolyte-Jean Flandrin (1809 - 1864). It's one nude oil on canvas painting created in 1842. The painting is owned by the museum of Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, one of the museums with the most Hippolyte-Jean Flandrin works, and is accessible to the general public. Hippolyte-Jean Flandrin made most paintings about portrait and figure and tableau.
