Scotch Highlands

Scotch Highlands is a work by American artist Robert Seldon Duncanson (1821 - 1872). It's one landscape oil on canvas painting created in 1848-1852. The painting is owned by Smithsonian American Art Museum (and the Renwick Gallery) - Washington DC, one of the museums with the most Robert Seldon Duncanson works, and is accessible to the general public. Robert Seldon Duncanson was influenced by American Landscape and Hudson River School, and made most paintings about landscape and figure and tableau.
