Seascape

Seascape is a work by Canadian artist Emily Carr (1871 - 1945). It's one seascape oil on paper on masonite painting created in 1935. The painting is owned by the museum of National Gallery of Canada - Ottawa, and is accessible to the general public. Emily Carris a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Emily Carr was influenced by Modernism and Post-Impressionism, and made most paintings about landscape and figure and tableau.
