Self-portrait

Self-portrait is a work by American artist Sarah Goodridge (1788 - 1853). It's one portrait watercolor on ivory painting created in 1825. The painting is owned by Smithsonian American Art Museum (and the Renwick Gallery) - Washington DC, one of the museums with the most Sarah Goodridge works, and is accessible to the general public. Sarah Goodridgeis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Sarah Goodridge made most paintings about portrait and nude.
