The Baptism of Our Saviour, also Christ Receiving the Holy Ghost, When Baptized by John at the River Jordan, is a work by American artist Benjamin West (1738 - 1820). It's one nude oil on canvas painting created in 1794. The painting is owned by Brigham Young University Museum of Art - Provo, UT, and is accessible to the general public. Benjamin West was influenced by Rococo and Neoclassicism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and portrait.
