The Cradle

The Cradle is a work by world-famous French artist Berthe Morisot (1841 - 1895). It's one figure and tableau oil on canvas painting created in 1872. The painting is owned by the museum of Musée d'Orsay, and is accessible to the general public. Berthe Morisotis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Berthe Morisot was influenced by Impressionism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and sketch and study.
