The Encounter at the Golden Gate is a work by Swiss artist Niklaus Manuel (ca. 1484 - 1530). It's one figure and tableau tempera on panel painting created in 1516. The painting is owned by the museum of Oskar Reinhart Collection - Winterthur, and is accessible to the general public.
