The North Gate of the Citadel

The North Gate of the Citadel is a work by Danish artist Christen Købke (1810 - 1848). It's one cityscape oil on canvas painting created in 1834. The painting is owned by the museum of Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek - Copenhagen, and is accessible to the general public. Christen Købke was influenced by Romanticism, and made most paintings about portrait and landscape.
