The Teapot

The Teapot, also Interior: Second Version, is a work by Welsh artist Gwen John (1876 - 1939). It's one still life oil on canvas painting created in 1915-1916. The painting is owned by the museum of Yale University Art Gallery, and is accessible to the general public. Gwen Johnis a female artist, an unusual sight among the men painters of her day. Gwen John was influenced by Post-Impressionism, and made most paintings about portrait and figure and tableau.
