Trees

Trees is a work by Canadian artist Maurice Prendergast (1858 - 1924). It's one landscape watercolor and pencil on paper painting created in 1918. The painting is owned by Smithsonian American Art Museum (and the Renwick Gallery) - Washington DC, and is accessible to the general public. Maurice Prendergast was influenced by Post-Impressionism, Ashcan School, and American Modernism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and seascape.
