Ulysses and the Sirens

Ulysses and the Sirens, also Mermaids, is a work by British artist Christopher Wood (1901 - 1930). It's one figure and tableau oil on board painting created in 1929. The painting is owned by the museum of University of Cambridge - Kettle's Yard, one of the museums with the most Christopher Wood works, and is accessible to the general public. Christopher Wood was influenced by Outsider Art (Art Brut), Modernism, and Post-Impressionism, and made most paintings about figure and tableau and still life.
