Frontispiece to Chopin's "Nocturnes" is a work by British artist Aubrey Beardsley (1872 - 1898). It's one printmaking pen and ink, with gray wash heightened with white drawing created in 1895. The painting is owned by Harvard Art Museums, one of the museums with the most Aubrey Beardsley works, and is accessible to the general public. Aubrey Beardsley was influenced by Art Nouveau, and made most paintings about printmaking and sketch and study.
